Go up the North Esk valley to reach The Retreat, which houses a Folk Museum. It gives an account of the customs and traditions in the glen. Nearby is the ruin of Invermark Castle and a beautiful reservoir (Loch Lee). The mountainous landscape culminates at 939m with Mount Keen.
