Fordyce : Michelin's recommendations

This charming village is built around a 16C fortified house, an interesting example of the Scottish baronial style. The churchyard is overlooked by a tower and belfry that are the only remains of a medieval church. One of the two 16C recesses carries the recumbent figure of a knight in armour.
