This full-day tour gives you a panoramic tour of the Highland Lochs. Travel through the woods to the village of Aberfoyle, located on the river Firth. Aberfoyle was feautured in Rob Roy by Sir Walter Scott, who also wrote his famous 'Lady in the Lake' poem here.
Next travel via the Duke's Pass and head north into the Trossachs, gateway to the Highlands. Admire the lovely Loch Earn then head to the Strathearn Valley. Stop at Crieff, and enjoy a tour of the Famous Grouse Experience distillery and enjoy Scotland's best-loved whisky! Be entertained by a unique interactive show, and enjoy a tour and a taste' with an exclusive tasting of a 30-year old malt whisky, unique to Timberbush customers; lunch options are offered in the award-winning restaurant.
After the whisky-tasting and lunch, descend to the historic hamlet of Doune, home to the fourteenth-century Doune Castle, once occupied by Jacobite soldiers and a setting for the cult comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Continue to the medieval town of Stirling with its historical links to William Wallace, Rob Roy, and King Robert the Bruce. Time permitting, enjoy time in Stirling and visit Stirling Castle before returning to Glasgow
