This pass offers free entry to all Historic Scotland properties. The three-day pass is valid over five days, and the seven-day pass is valid over 14 days, allowing you flexibility to enjoy Scotland's stunning heritage, while including other activities in your itinerary. The pass also offers substantial savings compared to paying individual entry. Whether you're interested in history, ancestry, or archaeology, or you simply wish to make the most of Scotland, Historic Scotland sites cater to all tastes.

Passes must be redeemed at Glasgow Cathedral. The three-day pass is valid over five consecutive days; the seven-day pass is valid over 14 consecutive days, from the time of redemption. More than one Historic Scotland property may be visited per day. The pass does not include any car parking charges or retail purchases on-site. Transportation between the points of interest is not included. Historic Scotland properties are open daily between April and Sept. All properties are closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day; between Oct. and March, some properties may close or operate a reduced timetable. Glasgow Cathedral is closed to the public on Sunday mornings for church services, but is open 1 PM4 PM. Please contact Historic Scotland Customer Service for more information. Foreign language guide books and audio guide tours are available for an additional charge at Edinburgh Castle. Information leaflets containing maps and full listings of all Historic Scotland properties are available from Edinburgh Castle. Children age 4 and younger participate for free.
