Charles Rennie Mackintosh was only 28 when he designed this key piece of European architecture (the school is still running). The building houses one of the largest collections of Mackintosh's furniture, drawings and paintings, and to this day is amazing in its functionality and the elegant simplicity of its lines. The library, an architectural tour de force, constitutes one of this brilliant designer's most emblematic interiors.
