Helmsdale Travel guide
Helmsdale : Michelin's recommendations
Founded in the 16C, the small port of Helmsdale acquired its 19C character when the Sutherlands of Dunrobin Castle expanded it in order to enable Highland smallholders who had lost their land to diversify into maritime activities.
