Isle of Mull
: Michelin's recommendations
The island is 38km long by 42km wide and has 483km of deeply indented coastline, where rocky cliffs (like those of Ross of Mull and their reefs) alternate with small creeks and their sandy beaches, like in Calgary Bay. Inland, the landscape can be desolate and spectacular, like the moors that rise towards the island's highest peak, Ben More (966 m). As with all the islands of the Inner Hebrides, the sea views are superb.
