Grey Mare's Tail is a spectacular waterfall where the Tail Burn plunges 60m to join the Moffat Water in its heavily glaciated valley. Two paths lead to the waterfall. The one on the left is the easier one and leads to the bottom of the waterfall. The one on the right, much steeper and stonier, climbs up to the valley and the moraine-dammed Loch Skeen.
