Cuisine modern

Menu: £24/£70

Formally dressed dining room with garden views, in a sympathetically restored, early 19C manor house, which blends modern furnishings and traditional features. A well-balanced, modern menu showcases the skill and understanding of the chef; cooking is accomplished, with vivid presentation and subtle flavours.

we booked boath house during our 5 star hotels trip in scotland based on the expectation to have at same time a confortable accomodation and a michelin star restaurant but this was not the case. in particular the restaurant service was not in line with the expectations a very rud metre asked us to move from our table during our dinner. we booked in advance specifying that we wll have a baby with us and they accepeted without any issue. the guy that should be the metre provide a table in a separate room far from allthe other clients of the restaurant but not happy asked us to move in a sort of embaracing location placed in a bibliotheche.... i'm used to travel always in 5 star hotel, during our scotland triip we have been in gleneagles, balmoral, inverlochy and we have never received a similar treatment, the staff and the service was always excellent. if you are looking for a good hotel plus restaurant combination avoid boath house from your list.
