This forest park is one of Britain’s largest (800 km2). Situated in one of the prettiest parts of the southen uplands, where wooded hills and mountains are skirted by rivers and lakes, the park is 60% forestry (mainly Sitka pine) inhabited by deer, squirrels, golden eagles, buzzards, capercaillie… Numerous recreational activities (climbing, walking, fishing, swimming and touring).
