The Tweeddale Museum (Institution Chambers on the first floor) is a little local museum with temporary exhibitions throughout the year. The secret chamber contains stucco friezes on historical themes including a version of the Triumph of Alexander completed by Danish sculptor B Thorvaldsen (19C), who was famous for his restoration of Greek works of art.

- Accessible to people of restricted mobility - visiting: daily, except Sun, 10am-12 noon and 2pm-5pm, Sat 10am-1pm and 2pm-4pm. Possibility of guided visits (30min) by prior arrangement. Closed from Oct w.-end to Easter.
