Pittenween : Michelin's recommendations
Pittenweem rises in two tiers. In High Street, Kellie Lodge (private) was the town house of the Earls of Kellie (whose main seat was Kellie Castle). This fine example of local architecture is embellished with corbelling, ridge tiles and crow-step gables. Today, Pittenweem's port is Fife’s busiest fishing port. On the seafront is The Gyles (at the eastern end), and at n° 18 East Shore is a three-storey, Dutch-style gabled building.
