This is one o the first castles to have been built with a surrounding wall. The large circular curtain is surrounded by a moat and finished off with four round towers, two of which have been reduced to their foundations. One has been partly transformed into a dovecote. A great room was added at the front and you can see a ruined chapel in the interior courtyard.
