Saddell : Michelin's recommendations

Overgrown ruins are all that remain of Saddell's once important abbey founded in 1207. In the village churchyard is a collection of beautiful medieval grave slabs. They illustrate the warlike character of the West Highlands; the black galley with its sails furled symbolises the end of a voyage.
