Pros
The room is very pretty and the garden behind is lovely to sit after a meal - even if it was not easily accessible. Service was friendly.
Cons
We could not understand why this is in the Red Guide. Admittedly it was very quiet night - we were the /only/ dinner guests - but the pate I had appeared to have been bought in and lacked much flavour. The lamb chops (a sensible option when turnover of supplies appears to be slow) were overcooked. It's perhaps different when they are catering for functions, for which the property is well suited.
