The centre has a model of the region between Loch Alsh and Loch Broom. It shows the main points of attraction of the Eighe National Nature Reserve (4,760 ha), the first of its type in Britain, that includes the impressive mountain crest of Benn Eighe (visible from a window here) and some remains of the pine forest of old Scotland.
