Pros
The food was imaginative with excellent ingredients and combinations. the vegetarian options were some of the best my wife has seen - but as a meat eater I was also well catered for. The wine list is a book for bed time reading and dreaming about. Both food and wine were very fairly priced. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable without being obtrusive - a friendly informal atmosphere.
Cons
The setting wasn't bad and didn't feel stuffy or too formal. it was slightly too dark and the decor could have been slightly classier without loosing the comfort effect. A minor critique.
