Pros
The views over Lake Windermere are fabulous. Amuse bouche on the terrace with drinks was most agreeable and the setting of the dining room with huge picture windows overlooking the lake was stunning. The reason for going was the food, and it lived up to expectations, one of the best and most memorable meals I've ever had.
Cons
The weather can be hit and miss in the lakes, but that's not in the control of the restaurant. The sun room was a bit hot and could do with a bit better ventilation, I can't find any fault with the food, service or value for money.
