This little High Street contains the Parish Church of St John, which was rebuilt in 1822, and the Guildhall, which was begun by Thomas Fitch in 1637 and completed by Christopher Wren in 1690. On the first floor, supported by columns, niches house statues of Queen Anne and her husband, Prince George of Denmark.
