Pros

Outstanding food in its class. Had 8 course tasting plus chefs table. Michelin rating does not reflect the standard achieved by this restaurant. The setting is beautiful (Jacobean Manor House), the food is innovative but not pretentious.

Cons

Very little based upon our visit. Plan to go again so can judge consistency but fully expect to be more than please - again.

Pros

Had 7 course taster menu. fantastic first 5 courses. Enjoyed the eel. my daughter was not on the taster menu but still got the the amuse bouche. great lunch

Cons

deserts were too big after the previous 5 courses
