Pros
The setting and the restaurant are very nice, quiet and peaceful. We had a window table so we could look out over the garden ( although we did have 3 or 4 flies that also liked the view!) The food was good, well thought out, and very tasty.
Cons
The service was attrocious! Right from the beginning we felt as though we were being rushed. The wine list was brought and within a minute she was back to ask if we had made a choice. I should explain that we were on a coupon deal for a 5 course tasting menu. We had 5 courses within 75 minutes!! There was no explanation of food, we had to pour our own wine and water. After the 3rd course we were asked if we would be having coffee at the end (which came without petit fours) I would not recommend!

Pros
I have to agree with the previous comments and found on arrival a beautifull and tranquil atmosphere. Walking through the door was like walking into your own home and felt very comfortable, we were welcomed by a very polite gentleman and our coats were taken and we were shown to the reception rooms. After we had some time to settle we ordered wine and our meal but at no time did we feel nor were we rushed, the service and friendly atmosphere were beyond expectations even when we had finished our meal we were at no time rushed to leave the table. I wouls certainly recommend to friends and will return again. I enjoy good tasting food and this was certainly delivered, who cares if the staff clear your plates away early. Surly its about the food and the taste not how it is served. Thankyou to the staff and the Chef, we enjoyed the evening very much.
