Pros
I have had a good run of dining in decent starred restaurants for a change, and Kevin’s establishment thankfully continued that trend! The tasting menu was great value, well executed with some little twists that made the diner stand out and the Gressingham Duck was perfect. The venue is small (so book) but nicely appointed, definitely not fussy or formal. A real find in a very beautiful part of the country.

Pros
nice clean comfortable room,well run by owner/chef and his wife who make the effort to see to your needs.excellent breakfast menu ,real orange juice ,free range eggs ,difficult to fault,in fact i wouldn't.
Cons
small portions (verges on nouvelle cuisine and i thought we had seen the back of that,)bland asparagus starter was followed by local lamb that was excellent although as stated there was not much of it or its companion items,the coffee was tepid and overall although the experience was enjoyable i do wonder at the michelin star status,i have visited many one star establishments abroad and i dont like saying this but on this showing the Neptune didn't come up to the same standard,maybe i was unlucky !
