Pros
The Sportsman is a very special place for a meal, possibly all the more so because its location and exterior may seem rather unpromising. Once inside, the tables are generously sized and spaced, whilst the staff have a genuine interest in what they are serving and the customers' reactions. As for the food, our tasting menu was a succession of interesting flavours and textures, exploiting local produce to the full - and with even more dishes than those listed on the menu! Thoroughly recommended.
Cons
None - very much on a par with starred restaurants where we have eaten elsewhere in Europe.

ambiance pub, service décontracté,cuisine étonnamment savoureuse pour une cuisine anglaise...! qui égale voire surpasse de nombreux restaurants gastronomiques français. Mention spéciale pour les huitres locales, les poissons sortis du bâteau (raie et turbot), cuisson parfaite, accompagnés idéalement. Carte des vins généreuses et abordable.Clou du déjeuner la tarte tatin, la meilleure de toute ma vie !
