Haworth was originally a weaving village with over 1 200 handlooms in action at its peak in the 1840s. Here Victorian looms produced "Brontë Tweed" and visitors can try their hand at operating them. There is also an exhibition about Timmy Feather, Yorkshire's last handloom weaver. A shop sells knitwear made at the mill.
