Celtic Cross : Michelin's recommendations
The Celtic Cross, near the entrance to the castle, is one of the earliest Christian monuments in Wales. Decorated with Celtic and Scandinavian motifs, it was erected in honour of Maredudd ap Edwin, co-governor of Deheubarth, who died in battle in 1035.
