Manoir : Michelin's recommendations

An Elizabethan manor stands against a 14C church and a water mill dating back to the 15C, in perfect working order. An idyllic picture by the water's edge. The manor was completed in 1612 by Sir Richard Blount. Despite its many changes over the centuries, it is particularly interesting for the great oak staircase, James I mouldings, portraits and chapel, an audacious work of Strawberry Hill Gothick.
