This modern museum on the outside of the village admirably explains the identity of the Isle of Anglesey. Aside from the imaginative reconstructions of the island's rich past, the museum covers current problems too. It has reconstruction of the workshop of landscape artist Charles Tunnicliffe (1901-1979) , who was probably the greatest British naturalistic painter of the 20C.
