In the Vale of Ewyas, not far from the River Honddu, stand the ruins of an Augustine priory from the late 12C. Eight splendid arches topped with a dilapidated triforium still stand by the ruins of the crossing tower and the eastern end of the church. A little hotel has been built in a part of the priory.
