London Zoo
London Zoo
: Michelin's recommendations
Founded in 1828, the zoo’s mission is to successfully breed endangered species and undertake biological research on rare breeds. It splits into two zones, separated by the Outer Circle and linked by a tunnel. It has over 850 species ranging from insects to lions, taking in everything from tortoises to monkeys along the way, housed in a dozen historic building and structures recreating the animals’ natural habitats.
