On the ground floor of the War Museum, a gallery includes ancient weapons and attractive military costumes. The 1^st floor presents the military history of Greece, from antiquity to our own time. The models of Byzantine and Frankish fortresses are of particular interest, as are the presentation of the war of independence, and the illustration of the Asia Minor catastrophe and the Second World War, notably the terrible fighting in Epirus and the Resistance.
