Things to see and do - Páros
Leaving for Greece
Páros Travel guide
Páros : Michelin's recommendations
Parikía (Páros Town), the capital of Páros, has developed on the site of the ancient city. Its charm resides in its narrow winding streets which are crowded with shops, chapels, blue-domed churches and fountains, several of which date from the 18C. Sights not to be missed include the ruins of the 13C Venetian Kástro (fortress), the Museum, the Grotto of the Nymphs, and, above all, Panagía Ekatondapilianí, one of the rare early Christian basilicas (rebuilt in the 10C) still to be seen in Greece.
