Caves of Dirós
: Michelin's recommendations
Glifáda, the largest of the two Dirós Caves, is one of the most spectacular natural sights in Greece. There are concretions all along the way during the boat tour: pillars, curtains, stalactites and stalagmites which the imagination turns into human silhouettes, strange flowers and fabulous beasts. Alepótripa Cave, where traces of prehistoric occupation have been found (on display in the museum), is being excavated by archeologists.
