In the north of the island of Corfu, Sidári has not escaped the ravages of the hotel industry. It's a pity, because the bay, with its numerous coves, is truly beautiful. The sea has patiently sculpted narrow channels here, including the famous channel of love: legend has it that anyone swimming across the bay will meet their true love. The best, closest and least crowded beach is Perouládes beach. When the sea is rough, the wild magnificence of the grey and ochre cliffs that overlook the narrow strip of sand is spectacular.
