The Macedonian Centre of Modern Art (Makedonikó Kéndro Sínhronís Téhnis) serves as a venue for temporary exhibitions presenting the works of foreign artists from various periods, and also gives exposure to young contemporary Greek artists. The permanent collection has over 1 500 pieces and gives a broad overview of the work of contemporary artists.
