The archaeological museum has three artefacts from the ancient city of Corcyra: a Gorgon pediment (6C BC) from the Temple of Artemis comprising a colossal grimacing figure of Medusa the Gorgon; a high-relief sculpture depicting a Dionysiac banquet; and the monumental Lion of Menecrates (7C BC). Note also the collection of votive terracotta and a head of the poet Menander (342-292 BC).
