The museum displays the works of art excavated at Delphi. A must: the Hall of the Charioteer where The Charioteer of Delphi, one of the most beautiful Greek statues from Antiquity, is been wonderfully well displayed. Also on show are a Hellenistic copy of the famous omphalos (a conical block of marble), which was kept in the crypt of the Temple of Apollo and thought to mark the centre of the world; and a magnificent group of dancers (Thyiads) on an acanthus column in the Hall of the Monument of Daochos.
