Heraion Headland Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

The Heraion Headland (Akrotírio Iréo) offers magnificent views down to the coast and the Bay of Corinth. Don't miss the town of Perahóra (small archeological museum) and the Limni Heraion road that skirts Lake Vouliagméni. The Heraion is located in a wild site hidden at the bottom of a narrow valley below an acropolis. Near a house are the ruins of a Hellenistic cistern and a temple to Hera Limenia (6C BC). The path to the lighthouse provides a splendid panorama.
