Palaestra Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

The double colonnade of the porticoes has made it possible to situate the palaestra, a square sports arena with sides 66m long, in the Hellenistic period (from 300 to 100 BC). The athletes trained in the courtyard and bathed or anointed themselves with oil in the surrounding rooms. Beyond the palaestra lie the somewhat confused remains of a Roman villa and a Byzantine church.
