Bibendum
The ancient city of Aigai overlooks the plain through which the Haliacmon winds. Today a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, the first capital of Macedonia has yielded a wealth of information on the splendour of Macedonian civilisation and one of Antiquity's most glorious kingdoms. At the foot of the ancient city are the royal tombs, where a museum has been set up; it presents, among other artefacts, the façades of the tombs, as well as the exceptional treasures discovered during excavation.
