Langada is the starting point for a lovely mountain walk taking in churches and monasteries (Ágios Ioannis Theologos has fine frescoes) on the way to Stavros (2hr 30min walk). From the main town, Hora, follow the path to the monastery of Chozoviótissa. From there, a ridge path (5hr) offering sublime views leads to Potamos. From Aigiali via Tholaria, Megali Glyfada and its fine sandy beach may be reached in 3hr. A 2hr walk from Vroutsi leads to the ruins of Arkessini, a 4C BC site.
