Located in a former planter’s house, this welcoming little museum explains everything about the banana, its history, uses and economics. Nearby, the neighbouring plantation’s banana bunches are processed using a 3.5km-long cableway production line. A stroll allows visitors to see different varieties of the crop and a garden of aromatic and medicinal plants. The visit concludes with a tasting of banana-based produce (purchases may be made).
