After donning masks and air tanks on Malendure beach, divers can head off to discover the delights of the Cousteau Reserve, notably around the small Pigeon islands. The sites are numerous: beginners will head for the Aquarium, Swimming Pool, Japanese Garden or Coral Garden; more experienced divers will venture to Pointe Carangue, Pointe Barracuda or the hot water outlets… all are spectacular: multicoloured fish, teeming coral reefs, turtles, sponges… The wreck of the Franjacq also hides some treasures!
