Petite-Terre Islands Recommended Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Petite-Terre comprises the two uninhabited islands of Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas, classified as a nature reserve under the protection of the French forestry commission. Visitors may be lucky enough to see dolphins here, on a trip that goes as far as the lighthouse. Among the abundant vegetation of the coastline is a thriving iguana population. The coral reef is an unforgettable dive site, and the beaches are protected for the benefit of various species of turtle (Chelonya mydas and Eretmochelys imbricata).
