This museum is installed in the house where Ignác Fülöp Semmelweis was born (1818-1865), a gynaecologist in his state, a specialist in infectious diseases. He is buried in the garden. The French writer, Louis Ferdinand Céline in 1924 devoted his Doctoral Thesis to him. In room 3 which is partly dedicated to the doctor (furniture and personal objects), you can see the fittings from the old pharmacy of Saint-Esprit (18th -19th Centuries).
