This museum displays interesting 14C and 15C works of art. In Room I, admire a 1427 triptych by the Hungarian Kolozsvári, and the Garamszentbenedek sepulchre. Room II has a remarkable wooden sculpture depicting God and the musical angels (1510) and four large early-16C paintings attributed to the Master M.S. Room III is devoted to the Italian (Gaddi), Austrian (Maulbertsch and Winterhalter) and Spanish (Ribera) Schools. Don’t miss the Ecce Homo (1470-80) by Memling near the large (Flemish and French) tapestry room.
