N°4 of Széchenyi tér square is home to the house of the iron tree stump. This abode owes its name to a tree stump full of nails that can be seen in a corner. According to an old custom of the town, every passing craftsman had to hammer in a nail. The site is also home to the collection of the journalist Imre Patkó which features works by 20C Hungarian artists, as well as paintings by Chagall, Rouault, Braque and Picasso.
