Built in the 13C and destroyed in the early 18C, this partially restored castle is one of the best preserved edifices of Hungary. It is well worth a visit for its magnificent point of view over the surrounding hills and protected vineyards of the Cserhat range. The ruins are surrounded by quiet green countryside which is ideal for picnics.
