This museum, which pays homage to Miklós Zsolnay, a 19C merchant and founder of the Zsolnay factory, displays ceramics used to decorate buildings and homes. There are some fine items on display, in particular some Secession pieces with both floral and oriental ornamentation. The museum bears witness to the richness and inventiveness of this factory, which continued to produce fresh designs for nearly a century. One room is a reconstruction of a family living room.
