The Baroque building opposite Keske Templon (Goat Church) was the former residence of the Esterházy family (whose crest may be seen over the door). It now houses a museum on Sopron's mining tradition, which dates back to the 18C. Working models, tools and machines help illustrate the old and new techniques used in underground mining.
