The house is where József Budenz (1836-92) once lived. He was a specialist in Finno-Ugric languages, which, among others, were spoken by the Magyars who occupied Hungary in the late 9C. The place has been converted into a museum to house art collections left by Miklós Ybl, the most famous of the late-19C Hungarian architects.
